BREAST CANCER

Breast cancer (BC) is a malignant tumor that develops from the epithelium of the mammary (breast) glands. BC is the most common malignant neoplasm in women and the second most common oncopathology in general. According to statistics, breast cancer accounts for 20-25% of all malignant tumors detected annually. Breast cancer also occurs in men, but very rarely, accounting for about 0.3-1% of all cancers detected.
